How Does Data Get Into DentOwl?
Data generally gets into DentOwl one of four ways...
Manual Entry
If your team has a potential new patient you'd like to communicate with or market to, you can enter them manually under Contacts.
Creation Via Form
When someone enters their data via a form on your website, it creates a contact in DentOwl where you can email them, send them a text message, or perform other actions such as enroll them in a nurture sequence or campaign.
Creation Via Chat
When someone starts a text chat via the DentOwl chat widget on your website, it creates a contact in DentOwl where you can email them, send them a text message, or perform other actions such as enroll them in a nurture sequence or campaign.
Creation Via Phone Call
When someone calls your practice, a record of the call is created and a contact is created in DentOwl. Generally with a phone call, you'll only get the phone number and a record of the call details in the contact record, so if you'd like to connect this with an email address or name, your front desk team would need to update that call record with the appropriate details.
